why we walk.

We're a little over a week away from "Walk for the Waiting", if you don't follow me personally or through The Life of a Lowry on Facebook and have no idea what I'm talking about you can find out more by following this link: walk for the waiting

This is why we walk:

We walk because the Lord has called us to do so.
We walk because it carries us closer to our forever.
We walk because there are so many little ones who didn't choose to end up in foster care, who didn't choose to be born into the situations they were born into.
We walk because we love them, without knowing them our hearts swell in anticipation of meeting them.

We walk for K&R, the two precious sisters who we loved and had the privilege of knowing for 6 months of their lives.
We walk because sometimes families are redeemed and its beautiful to watch.

We walk because somewhere out there our Little Lowry is waiting on us.
We walk because they will make our family a little more complete.
We walk because each step we take will take us one step closer to fulfilling a promise.

If you're interested in how you can help with our walk you can follow this link:
type my name: Meagan Lowry
into the walkers name section.

Every little bit helps- and I just want to be clear that this money does not go towards Zak and I adopting a child, but instead goes to support the efforts in helping the more than 500 children in the state of Arkansas who are waiting for their forever families.

We walk because our hearts break for the 500 children who desperately want to meet their forevers.

We walk to move closer to ours.

xoxo,
Meagan
